Triathlon Firsts

Scott competed in the sprint distance triathlon in Boulder's 5430 series yesterday. (5430 feet is the altitude here.)

It was his first race in the 35-39 age group. Poor thing. He's not even 35 yet, but they go by what your age will be at the end of the year.

It was also the FIRST triathlon he's ever done in his hometown. We woke up and drove 10 minutes to the event, and were likewise back for hot showers 10 minutes after leaving. So nice. He did really well on all three legs of the event after not triathlon training for a while.
